Screening of DARK COUNTRY Director's Cut with Thomas Jane IN PERSON
On Sunday, October 26th, join actor/director Thomas Jane at the Gardena Cinema for a special screening of his 3-D Director's Cut version of Dark Country (2009), a neo-noir psychological thriller about a newlywed couple on a hellish drive through the desert. It was Thomas Jane's directing debut and one of the first 3-D movies to be filmed digitally.
Digital Cinerama Screening of SOUTH SEAS ADVENTURE
On Sunday, November 2nd at the Gardena Cinema, we will present a screening of the restored 1958 Cinerama classic SOUTH SEAS ADVENTURE in the digital SMILEBOX format that simulates the giant 3-panel Cinerama curved screen. Join us for a Q&A with special guest, Cinerama expert Dave Strohmaier, who oversaw the digital restoration.
