In the film ABOVE US ALL the young Australian girl Shay tries to find a way to cope with her mother’s death. Her mother is an Indigenous Australian, her father a Flemish astronomer, who does research at an Australian Astronomical Observatory. After his wife’s death, he decides to return to Europe for a time-out, taking his two children with him.
